Don't Fall In

Sam felt the sun shining down on his shoulders while he sat happily by the stream. It was a perfect sunny day and luckily he was spending it with Sarah. Then, all at once Sarah pointed at the water.

“Look Sam!” Sarah exclaimed. “It is a crocodile!!"

"They're harmless," Sam said.

"What if it's hungry and some how I fell in?" Sarah questioned. "It would eat me... whole."

Sam pretends to push Sarah in but then he grabs her arms and pulls her back up. She almost had a heart attack and started freaking out at Sam.

"You are flippin' crazy Sam! You could have got my killed!" Sarah exclaimed.

"I wasn't actually going to push you in," Sam says as he slips on a rock and accidentally hits Sarah. Uh oh... Sarah fell in the water and lands right on top of the crocodile. The crocodile is squirming around, but then it sees Sarah almost to the edge of the stream. He swims very quickly over to her and grabs her by the leg and rips one leg off at a time.

Sarah is screaming super loud and cannot stop crying.

"HELP ME SAM!" Sarah yells.

"I can't get to you and what if the crocodile gets me?" Sam says.

"AHHHHHHHH! Both of my legs are gone and now my hand!" Sarah screams to Sam. "I can't swim over to you, you need to get help from somewhere."

"The closest place to get help is one mile from here, I don't think I'll make it back in time," Sam replies.

"Back in time for what?" Sarah asks.

"Back in time for... never mind," Sam says quietly. "I'll go get help, just stay calm!"

Sam is running as fast as he can to the nearest gas station which is still one mile away. Sam is on the track team and runs one mile everyday.

He finally has reached the gas station and is almost out of breath. It turns out it was farther than he thought.

Of course, the gas station is deserted and there isn't another one for five miles. So Sam runs back to his girlfriend and once he got there every one of her body parts were floating down the stream, but the crocodile is long gone.

"I can't just leave her body parts floating in the water. I better go and get them," Sam says to himself.

As Sam had gotten her body pieces, he had to think of where to put them. So he starts digging a hole with a shovel he found nearby.

"What is this?!" Sam exclaims.

He had found an arm where he was digging. He wondered what had happened to this person but he just left it the way it was.

Sam is crying and feels guilty because it's his fault she fell in but it was a total accident.

"What am I gonna tell her parents?" Sam says.

2O11 Slam of Poetry .

For 2011 poetry slam I painted posters for it.

I worked with Erin and Shaelyn.

We wrote Poetry Slam 2011 in big letters. We then flicked paint on them and it looked pretty sick(awesome). We also made another poster that said "TWO CLASSES CONVERGED IN A POETRY SLAM" (from one poem we had read).

I think we all did a pretty good job. It may have looked cooler with bubble letters or graffiti letters but it turned out fine.
